Website Product, Social Media Creator and Marketing Manager

Full-time, permanent. 37.5 hours a week. Salary £18,500-£21,450

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Website Product, Social Media Creator and Marketing Manager to join our team. The role will be responsible for; the website, putting products on the website, photographing stock, creating content for our social media pages, marketing online and in local magazines. At busy periods you will also be needed as a shop assistant. The successful candidate will be working independently and be able to have good social skills. You must have an in-depth knowledge of social media and websites as well as a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills and eager to learn.

The full-time, permanent position will be in August 2022. The hours will be 37.5 hours per week. Salary starting at £18,550-£21,450 a year subject to a six-month probation period. We have a laptop and a camera on site for you to use equipped with Adobe software. If you need training, we will be able train you to be ready for your role.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

• Photograph content and stock images for the site
• Being in charge of the online presence and website
• Use of graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom)
• Website management through content and a good awareness of SEO practices
• Creating and deploying direct mail and email campaigns
• Creating and implementing social media campaigns
• Creating and organising adverts for local magazines and newspapers
• Marketing reporting and analytics through tools such as Google Analytics
• Be able to work independently
• Flexible to be a shop assistant when needed

The type of person we are looking for:

• Highly computer literate with knowledge of e-commerce websites
• Excellent work ethos, organisational skills, ability to show flexibility and initiative
• Some knowledge of graphic design
• Some knowledge of photography
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sharp attention to detail
• Education GSCE or equivalent (preferred)
• Creative individual
• Appreciation for jewellery
