Bangle in 15ct yellow gold and a decorative style. The bangle contain a seed pearl centre with seven seed pearls in a cluster shape on a raised plinth. Each seed pearl is secured by claw setting and is accentuated by elaborate carvings. An intricate antique Victorian (1837-1901) piece and with a "kitemark". During the Victorian Era a lozenge-shaped or a diamond-shaped design registration mark (1842-1883,) known as a "kitemark" was used on jewellery and other decorative arts. The "kitemark" were used to indicate the date of a particular design was registered, but they cannot be relied on to provide an accurate date of manufacture. The bangle "kitemark" says the 8th of August 1879.
